Church dedication

Here’s a snippet of the building dedication ceremony.  The preacher is Pastor Emma, Director of Operations for ANLM and the interpreter is Pastor Rogers, youth pastor of New Life Bible Church in Kigali.  Pastor Frances, pastor of New Life Bible Church Kageyo, is also there, along with our team leader Pastor Tom Joyce. 

I wanted to show this video because Pastor Emma has some direct words of thanks to many of you who couldn’t join us, but were part of our team through your prayers and financial support.  You really made this happen, and we, as well as the people of Kageyo, are eternally thankful-

Cement assembly line

By the end of the week, we had gotten smarter, and formed an assembly line to transport the cement to the place where we were pouring.  This video was shot on the last day, as we’re pouring the foundation for what will become the kitchen for the school in Kageyo.  This was our last pouring of the week, and I think you can tell there’s a little pep in our step as we can see the finish line.

Kageyo Day 5, Safari, Return Home
